The original lay out of the kitchen area was very linear and not user friendly. In addition, the correlation of the kitchen to the adjacent dinette and family room was not practical for day-to-day use. This homeowner was looking to achieve a casual, accessible space while maintaining an upscale look, consistent with the rest of the home.
